UV rays across glass

UV rays across glass

Is this energy capable of crossing glass? Multiple people believe that this is not possible although others disagree due to UVA rays, as they have a frequency that should pass. So, then what?

Sadly this is not a matter of opinions but a technical question that can be measured with the right equipment or with the glass conditions and the available elements of interaction.

The properties of the glass have a great relevance in terms of UV filtering, even all showing transparency. Some are designed for filtering as much as possible, so in this scenario the importance of the readings after the glass are scarce.

Anyway, some energy should be measured with other types of glass so in a first appreciation you shouldn't trust on an effective filtering. There's no short answer here, it's in accordance with multiple factors.
